I'm a staff photographer with The Associated Press in Baltimore, Maryland. Before moving to Baltimore, I worked for the AP, both as a freelancer and a staffer, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

I've covered the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts, Hurricane Irene, Super Bowl XLV, college bowl games, NBA playoffs and March Madness basketball. My pictures have appeared in TIME, Sports Illustrated, and the front pages of The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, The Washington Post and USA Today.

I graduated from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California, with a B.A. in English in 2006.
