J.D. Beach rode his first motorcycle at age 3. Now 17, he races in the highly-competitive AMA Supersport division, reaching speeds of up to 160 m.p.h.

Despite tremendous successes, a career in motorcycle racing isn't guaranteed. Here Beach discusses his love of racing and what it will take to succeed.

This project was completed for Beach's primary sponsor in August 2009, and was shot at Virginia Internatonal Raceway in Alton, Va.
