Ben Williams Forming men and women for others (2009)
Ben Williams, an English teacher at Georgetown Preparatory School near Washington, D.C., partnered with a fellow teacher to bring a dozen students on a service trip to New Orleans ten months after Hurricane Katrina. Since then, they have made nine more trips, bringing more than 150 students, faculty and staff with them.
Here Williams talks about why Georgetown continues to come to New Orleans, and how the trip affects his students.
